Customized folders require the following information:

1. Customized Folder Materials

You need to confirm the materials for your customized product:

1. Conventional materials: PP/dual-color/foam materials, because they are relatively inexpensive and widely used.
2. Eco-friendly materials: such as straw + PP, antibacterial materials + PP, coffee grounds + PP, GRS recycled PP materials, etc. This is because in recent years, the rise of environmental awareness among consumers has led them to consider reducing plastic usage.
   Therefore, more environmentally friendly materials have been developed. For example, straw materials have biodegradability. By using straw materials to replace some of the PP raw materials, carbon emissions can be reduced, which is of great help to environmental protection. For example, recyclable materials are products made from recycled PP materials, which means PP is recycled and reused, thereby reducing the production of PP raw materials.

2. Choose Folder Styles

1. Select from Existing Products: You can choose from our existing company catalog, or if you inform us of your country, we can recommend some popular products in your country. For example, in the United States, popular products include button closure bags, accordion folders, and so on.

For example, in Europe, popular products include button closure bags, document folders, and so on.

For example, in Japan, popular products include L-shaped folders, protective pouches, document folders, and so on.

2. Custom Design: Please find the following design draft attached. First, we will evaluate and provide a quotation based on your design draft. If you have no concerns regarding the product’s price, we will proceed with adjustments to the craftsmanship according to your design draft and provide a prototype sample.

3. Custom Folder Colors

1. If you wish to choose from our existing colors, we can provide you with our existing color chart for selection.
2. If you want to customize the design color, please provide us with the PANTONE number or a sample.

We will provide a sample for color confirmation.

3. If you wish to customize products using straw or recycled materials, please inform us of the desired color. We will confirm whether it is feasible to produce using straw or recycled materials.

4. Customize Folders in Different Sizes.

1. Please provide the dimensions of the folder. It’s important to note that the dimensions may vary by country. For example, in Europe, the commonly used size for a snap closure bag is A4, while in the United States, it’s Letter Size.

2. Please provide the thickness of the folder. This thickness is crucial for us as it closely relates to the pricing. If it’s an accordion folder, you need to provide not only the thickness of the outer/inner pages but also the thickness of the sides. If you don’t have a specific thickness determined, we can recommend one for you, or you can inform us of your product’s price market positioning, and we can recommend a thickness accordingly.

5. Custom Folders with Printing.

1. Purpose of custom printed folders: Customizing folders with printing is a common choice for many clients, especially for products that face intense competition in the market, such as L-shaped folders. Clients often use printing to increase their product’s added value. Some clients also opt for customization with different IP collaborations to sell peripheral products associated with those IPs, thereby boosting their sales revenue.

2. Steps for customizing printed folders: Firstly, you need to provide the design draft to us. Rest assured, we will maintain confidentiality of your design. For products with 1-2 color printing, we will employ silk-screen printing. For folders with more than 4 colors, we will use offset printing.

3. Pricing for customizing different printed folders: If you’re customizing with 1-2 colors printing, the price is relatively lower. For customization with more than 4 colors printing, it requires a 4-color printing machine, making the price relatively higher. If you have specific high requirements for the printing colors, we will inform you based on your design which colors need to be spot colors. The advantage of spot color printing is maintaining color accuracy, but it comes with a higher price tag.

4. Customized hot stamping: Hot stamping is also a commonly used technique in folders. Some products may choose hot stamping to enhance their appearance. If you have hot stamping design requirements, we can provide hot stamping foil in different colors for you to choose from.

5. Requirements for customized printing products: It’s important to note that not all products can be printed. You need to choose between transparent PP sheets or solid color PP sheets.

Surfaces suitable for printing include thick board double frosted and thin board mirror finish.

6. Customized Surface Texture for the Folder

1. You can choose from our existing pattern catalog. Please contact us to request the pattern catalog.

2. If you have a custom pattern in mind, please send us the design draft below. We will need to customize a cylinder for this, typically priced at $5000 USD per cylinder. For specific pricing, please contact us. We will evaluate your designed pattern and provide an accurate quotation.

If you require exclusive rights to the pattern, you will need to cover the cost of one cylinder. However, if exclusive rights are not necessary, we can negotiate shared development and share the associated costs.

7. Custom Folder Logo

If you need to customize your company’s brand logo, please provide the following information to us:

1) Determine the production technique for the logo: Hot stamping or Silk screening.

2) Specify the logo color: Options include black, white, silver, gold, colored, transparent, etc. Please confirm the color with us.

3) Determine the logo placement: Please provide a design draft to us.

4) Specify the logo size: Please provide a design draft to us.

8. Custom Folder Packaging

If you require custom packaging for the folders, please provide the packaging information for individual units, inner boxes, and outer cartons.

1. Individual Packaging for Folders:

First, please confirm the quantity per pack.

Next, please specify the packaging material. Options include OPP bags, PP bags, PE bags, hanging card bags, printed bags, etc.

Lastly, please confirm if there are any specific requirements for the style and thickness of the packaging.

(Generally, OPP bags, PP bags, PE bags, hanging card bags, or printed bags are available, with varying prices.)

Is there any adhesive sticker or colored paper on the packaging bags? If yes, what are the dimensions? Does the packaging bag contain printed warning signs or other information?

2. Inner Box Packaging for Folders: Specify the quantity per inner box. Do you require printing on the surface of the inner box? Are there any specific material requirements for the inner box? (Typically, inner boxes are made of single-wall cardboard for reinforcement.) Are there any style preferences for the inner box, such as standard designs or PDQ printed designs? (PDQ designs are suitable for display on shelves in physical stores, enhancing the presentation of product colors and features.)

3. Folder Outer Carton Packaging: Quantity per carton, printing requirements on the outer surface of the carton, any special requirements for the carton material (typically, carton material is double corrugated).

4. Barcode Stickers:

Whether barcode stickers are required for all packaging, if so, please provide design drafts.
