01 Confirm the following questions and choose the hole punch you need
A) Material: Plastic or metal? Single color or dual color?
B) Number of holes: 1-hole/2-hole/3-hole?
C) Capacity: How many sheets can the hole punch handle? 10/20/25/30 sheets? Other?
D) Hole punch specifications: Are the hole distances adjustable or fixed? What is the diameter of the holes?
E) Style of the hole punch: Heavy-duty or standard?
F) Do you need a single hole punch or a set of hole punches? If you need a set, please inform us of the other products you would like to include.
G) If you are not sure about all the details, simply contact us to obtain an electronic catalog, and you can choose any item you like.
H) Please confirm all details, including product code, packaging method, logo, etc., before we quote. If you need an Excel sheet to fill in all the details, please contact us to obtain the inquiry Excel. This will save more time and help us quote you as soon as possible.
I) After confirming the price, please provide the quantity and quality requirements of the samples you need. Typically, we can provide samples of our existing products for free, but if you need a large number of samples, and they have to be made according to your specifications, we will need to charge a sample fee. Please contact us for the exact sample fee.
1. Customizing Products Color

A) Provide a Pantone color number or choose from existing colors (select existing for quantities below MOQ).
B) The same color number will show slight differences between metal and plastic.
C) After selecting a color, plastic can provide a free color card sample, while metal will require spray painting or plastic spraying.
D) If you need a complete sample made to your color specifications, there will be a sample fee, primarily for material and labor costs. The specific fee will depend on the number of samples you require.
2. Customizing Products Logo
A) The color of the logo needs to be provided in Pantone color numbers. The logo color can be customized to 1-color, 2-color, 3-color, or 4-color, typically it will be 1-color. We will adjust the ink according to the Pantone color card number to meet your requirements.
B) The placement of the logo needs to be adjusted based on the product, and it usually needs to be printed on a relatively smooth and flat surface.
For example, for hole punches, we usually print in the following locations.

C) The size of the logo also needs to be adjusted according to the different products. We can suggest an appropriate logo size based on the product. The logo will be printed according to a 1:1 design drawing, and then placed on the product to show you the effect. If needed, we can also do product rendering.
3. Packaging Design
A) Choose the packaging method for the product, which mainly includes color box, blister pack, clamshell card, or PVC box.

B) The color box is the most common choice among all customers. When you choose the packaging method, we can provide you with the following die-cut templates, which you can design on.

C) The blister pack/clamshell card is the second choice among all customers. If the packaging is a clamshell card or a blister pack, please contact us so we can provide our existing molds. If our existing molds do not meet your requirements, please provide us with the die-cut line as follows. We will need to create a new blister mold, and the cost of the mold should be quoted based on the specific situation. Please contact us for the exact price.

D) Some hole punches use packaging with a color box and a PVC window, although this method is more costly, it allows for a clear view of the product inside.

E) PVC boxes are used by fewer customers. If you require this type of packaging, you need to provide us with the die line. If you need to print on the PVC box, you must provide us with the design drawings.

F) For color boxes or paper cards, samples need to be provided. We can offer a spray paint draft for free for reference of the approximate size and color; if you require a machine sample, an additional fee of about $200 for the sample cost will be charged. Please contact us for the exact price. If the color box has spot colors, you also need to inform us in advance. In this case, the price of the color box will be different and more expensive than the regular four colors.
G) Additionally, you need to provide us with the packaging method and materials for both the inner and outer packing boxes:

1)Yellow box or white box?
2)Do I need stickers?
3)Does it need to be print?
4)Four-sided or two-sided shipping marks?
5)Is the outer box sealed in I-shape?
After confirming the packaging method, we need to confirm the specific material of the package material. Our regular color box is about 350g thick gray background white, but some customers will have their own material requirements, such as how many grams of white card, the price will be different. This should be asked and informed in advance when quoting.
Our quotation is based on the usual packing method, the price will be adjusted according to the specific situation.
H) Stickers: Does the product have stickers? If yes, please provide design.

Hole punches rarely have product stickers attached. If there is a monochrome barcode sticker, it’s placed on the bottom of the product, but this increases the price due to the need for manual application of the sticker.
Additionally, some customers, in order to reduce the cost of producing color boxes, will use the same color box for products of different colors. Therefore, they add dots of different colors on the exterior of the color box to differentiate the products’ colors. Of course, you can also make a hole directly on the color box to distinguish the color inside.

I) Pallets: If you require pallets for shipping, please inform us of the material you prefer: wood or plastic. Contact us to obtain pricing. If palletization is needed, please specify the material of the pallets, whether wooden or plastic.

J) If you wish to simplify all the above steps, just let us know, and we can provide you with special packaging design services. Please contact us, and we will be more than happy to assist you.
02 Customizing a hole puncher, if the product used is not available with us, the steps are as follows
A) If you have product design drawings, please send them to us in CAD format.

If you do not have product design drawings, please provide samples, and we can design based on the samples you provide.
If you do not have product design drawings or samples, please contact us with your ideas, and let us help you bring them to fruition.
B) Please confirm the product specifications, including product dimensions, materials, colors, paper requirements, annual order quantity, or order quantity.

C) Please confirm the quality requirements. If there are quality specifications, please provide them to us, including product testing requirements.

D) Once all details are provided, we can assess the product pricing and mold costs. If there are requirements for mold lifespan, please inform us.
E) After confirming the product pricing and mold costs, we can arrange for a 3D sample prototype to confirm the design feasibility. For plastic 3D prototypes, it typically takes 7-15 days. We will need to charge for the 3D prototype sample, please contact us for an accurate price.
If product certification is required, please provide the certification requirements. Please contact us for a quotation for certification.

F) After confirming the 3D prototype sample, please place an order with us and arrange for payment of the mold costs, so that we can begin manufacturing the molds, which typically takes 45-60 days. We will provide you with a mold development schedule for your reference. Please proceed with placing your order.
G) Upon completion of the molds, you will receive T1/T2 products. T1 usually consists of the initial batch of samples, allowing for adjustments if necessary. Depending on the feedback from T1, mold adjustments typically take 14 days before proceeding with the production of T2 samples. If the test molds prove satisfactory, please place an order with us and arrange for a deposit. We will then schedule trial production, which involves small-batch production to test the manufacturing process for any issues. If everything is in order, we will proceed with large-scale production.
H) If you encounter any difficulties during the above steps, please do not hesitate to contact us. We have a strong team of engineers who can provide you with professional advice.
